TECHNICAL GASES

Our dry ice, oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, argon mixture products are used in metallurgy, metal processing, and other industrial fields.

Argon-based welding mixtures – for high-quality electric welding using inert gases and for fuel tanks of any size. This increases the welding speed (in a protective CO2 environment) twice as compared to the standard welding. This is because the small surface voltage of the cast metal reduces the spattering and spraying of the electrode metal to 70 % – 80 %. Based on customers’ request, the CO2 concentration in the Ar+CO2 gas mixture may vary between 2 % and 50 %.

Nitrogen – is used in the prevention of fire and dangerous explosions. In the oil and gas industry, it is used to purge and test the pipes. This gas is also applied in the chemical and petrochemical industry to create an inert environment in tanks, in the varnishing and painting industry to prevent oil polymerization, as well as in plasma apparatus, labs, the medical industry and agriculture.

Carbon dioxide-We impose high requirements on the quality of our products and give a 99.98 % purity-level guarantee. This means that our liquid and gaseous CO2 products that are used in the food industry, including mineral water and juice manufacturing plants, are perfect.

Oxygen-Under normal conditions (T=20 °C, P= 760 mm Hg) oxygen is a colorless, odorless and tasteless gas poorly soluble in water.

In areas with high oxygen concentration (above 23 %), smoking and the use of electric heaters and open flames are prohibited, as these may cause an explosion.

Oxygen is used in metallurgy, metal welding and cutting, as rocket fuel, and in the medical and glass industries.

Dry ice– transportation and storage of perishable products , selling ice cream and soft drinks to keep them chilled using dry ice where electricity is not available; transportation and storage of healthcare products and materials; creating special effects (such as safe smoke) during concerts, shows and festive events; dry ice cools down flowers and delays their blossoming. Dry ice blasting is a more-modern method of treatment of different types of industrial, technological and domestic contaminations on various surfaces.

Food industry: Since there is no risk of poisoning, dry ice may be used for the storage and transportation of any product.

Antiseptic properties: Storage containers are filled with dry ice to prevent oxidization and bacteria multiplication.
